Hi I’m Liz! I’m so glad you are here!

Here are some totally un-useful facts about me:

I LOVE high heels- I mean, I absolutely love them. I wear them with everything. The funny thing about this? I am already almost 6 feet tall.

I say I am almost 6 feet tall, but I feel it important to clarify that I am really only 5 feet, 10 and 3/4 inches tall. People look at me funny when I say that though, so I make things simple and round up!

And while we are the subject of shoes, I have big feet. I used to feel really bad about it, until my daddy told me, "It takes a stronger foundation to hold up a castle then an outdoor privy." I am good with my feet size now.

My daddy has a lot more amazing quotes like that one, but I will spare you and not repeat them all here. Just know, I grew up in a small town, and that the word "Hick" occasionally could be used to describe me.

Dr. Pepper is my absolute favorite soda of all time. Mostly because I am a mom to four crazy and rambunctious boys and one cute little girl. I need the caffeine to keep up with them!

And yes, you read that right! I have five kids! So I totally understand how important it is to capture all of life’s little moments. Plus having all those kids means that I can handle anything you throw my way. I have four boys… believe me when I say I’m a pro!

Chocolate and I are very good friends. I try to eat healthy, I really do, but the chocolate and Dr. Pepper get me every time.

I love home decor …. like I have this amazing ability to walk into any store and find the most beautifully expensive item in the store. However, I usually refrain from purchasing said item because I love to DIY. I have been known to buy decor pieces, fix them up, then sell them when I find something I love even more. I feel like Joanna Gaines and I would be very good friends.

We live on a family run fruit farm in Caldwell, ID, called Cherry Hill Farms. We grow peaches, apples, apricots, nectarines, and pie cherries. Next time you are at Walmart, look for the Mountainland brand of apples. Those came from our farm!

In my down time, I love spending time with these cute people right here. But as you probably guessed, downtime is hard to come by with this crew. They definitely keep me on my toes with sports practices, farm work, and music lessons but I wouldn’t have it any other way!

About Liz Rowley Photography

I began taking pictures professionally in 2007 and started my business, Liz Rowley Photography, in the fall of that year.  That means I have over 15 years of experience behind the camera! I have taken many classes and participated in many workshops and mentoring programs over the years. I believe continuing education is a mark of a really great photographer.  Over the years, I have done senior photography, wedding photography, family photography, and child photography. I now shoot mainly high school seniors, families, children, babies, and newborns.  I am so excited to share my love of photography with you!
